A beautiful Italianate mansion in the heart of Shakespeare country

Set within 15 acres of lawns, gardens and woodland, and with extensive views across rolling warwickshire countryside, Bourton Hall has all the charm, elegance & grandeur to form the perfect back drop for your dream wedding.

Built by John Shuckburgh in 1791, the original house has had many additions and remodels. Today stands an impressive Italianate-country house with pretty sandstone ashlar, romantic balcony and the two large three-story canted bays give the notion of a fairy-tale castle. As soon as you step foot in the door, the large main hall with original feature grand staircase is set underneath two stunning glass cupolas that flood the space with natural light.

Bourton Hall is set in 15 acres of grounds including a manicured croquet lawn, parkland, pond and woodlands, all of which are ideal for photographs, whatever the season. Enjoy a drinks reception, with some croquet on the lawn in the summer, and in winter months, appreciate the views from the warmth of roaring wood burners inside. Perched on a ridge above the Leam Valley, the main terrace is perfect for enjoying cocktails in the afternoon sun while appreciating the expansive views beyond. For those that venture out into the gardens, you will find hidden gems around every turn, including an original feature Italianate pond.

Just 10 miles South East of Coventry and 25 miles North West of Northampton, Bourton Hall offers a secluded country setting in an easily accessible position – perfect for those with guests coming from both north and south.
